KOMTOUCH NAPATTALOONG was Born in Bangkok, Thailand but raised in southern United States, Komtouch Napattaloong studied at the University of Texas in the department of Radio-Television-Film where he directed and produced a number of short works including the Thai-language short film, Motherland that made its way to international festivals such as Austin Film Festival, Austin Asian American Film Festival, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, Salento International Film Festival, and Thai Short Film and Video Festival etc.

In 2016, Napattaloong participated in the filmmaking workshop, “Filming in Cuba with Abbas Kiarostami” where he made a 10-minute Cuban short film, El Cielo, with the mentorship of Kiarostami. The program was set at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Television in Cuba and was produced by Black Factory Cinema.

After spending a year in Los Angeles, Napattaloong returned to Bangkok with plans to produce and direct films and videos.
