Chompoo: Lost& Forgotten

This year marks exactly 20 years of me making documentaries. I’ve always loved watching TRUE CRIME and wanted to make one myself. Finally, on August 20th,Chompoo: Lost& Forgotten is dropping! The case is incredibly fascinating because of how it overlaps with Thai culture, politics, religion, and deep-rooted superstitions. It really makes you ask: “How does a suspect become a celebrity?” Huge thanks to NETFLIX, Abishek Bajaj, and the team for the opportunity. Shoutout to Beachhouse producers Rob and Jenni for teaching me a solid, systematic workflow. Thanks to the production team Puean Production, Nijsa, Jamu, Patrawut, and Pakkard. I would’ve been completely lost without you guys. Thanks to Rimvydas Leipus for spending months in Thailand shooting such gorgeous footage. And a massive thank you to the rest of the crew I couldn’t name here. Lastly, I hope Thai audiences tune in. Every second is gripping, it’s even fun to watch while ironing! Don’t miss it.

DOI BOY @ NETFLIX

Finally, I would like to say that on 2023 November 24th, you can watch “DOI BOY” global release on NETFLIX !!

This is a new experience in the life of my filmmaking, where everyone can easily watch it anywhere in the world.

I apologize to the various film festivals that have been invited and had to decline.

I apologize to the audience who were expecting to watch it in movie theaters, for various reasons, including the content and circumstances and Thai movie theaters industry’s environmental system. The best and most suitable place for “DOI BOY” is on NETFLIX.
